1. Purpose
REWTTEERS UNIVERSITY ("REWTTEERS UNIVERSITY," "we," "our," or "the University") is committed to providing high-quality educational programs and a fair, transparent refund process. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which students may be eligible for refunds, how refund requests are processed, and the responsibilities of both the University and its students.
By enrolling in any course, program, subscription, certification, workshop, or other educational service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to payments made for:
- Online courses
- Certificate programs
- Diploma programs
- Professional development courses
- Live virtual classes
- In-person workshops and seminars
- Memberships
- Subscription services
- Digital educational resources
- Coaching and mentoring programs
- Conference registrations
- Certification examinations (unless otherwise stated)
Certain programs may have separate refund terms, which will be communicated before enrollment. Where a conflict exists, the program-specific refund terms will prevail.
3. Tuition Refund Eligibility
Students may be eligible for a tuition refund depending on the timing of the withdrawal and the extent to which the course or program has been accessed or completed.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific program:
- Before course access begins: Students who cancel enrollment before receiving access to course materials may be eligible for a full refund, less any applicable administrative fees.
- Within the published refund period: Students who withdraw within the stated refund window and have not substantially accessed or completed the course may be eligible for a partial or full refund.
- After significant participation: Refunds are generally not available once a substantial portion of the course has been accessed, completed, or attended.
- After course completion: No refund will be issued once a course, certification, or program has been successfully completed.
For cohort-based or instructor-led programs, attendance at scheduled sessions may also be considered when determining refund eligibility.
4. Digital Course Purchases
Many REWTTEERS UNIVERSITY offerings consist of digital educational content that becomes immediately accessible after purchase.
Because digital products can be accessed, downloaded, streamed, or copied upon delivery:
- Refunds are generally not available once access to digital course materials has been granted, except where required by applicable law.
- If technical issues prevent reasonable access to purchased content and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, the University may, at its discretion, provide a refund, replacement access, or other appropriate remedy.
- Downloadable materials, e-books, templates, recordings, and similar digital resources are considered delivered once access has been provided.
Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
5. Subscription Cancellations
Some Services may be offered on a recurring subscription basis.
Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings or by contacting the University.
Unless otherwise required by law:
- Cancellation prevents future recurring charges.
- Cancellation does not automatically generate a refund for payments already processed.
- Access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
- No prorated refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period unless required by law.
Students are responsible for canceling subscriptions before the next renewal date if they do not wish to continue.
6. Deadlines for Refund Requests
To be considered, refund requests must generally be submitted within the applicable refund period for the purchased service.
Unless otherwise specified:
- Requests should be submitted as soon as possible after the event giving rise to the request.
- Requests submitted after the applicable refund deadline may be denied.
- Certain promotional, discounted, or special enrollment programs may have shorter or different refund periods.
Students should review the refund terms applicable to their specific program before enrolling.
7. Non-Refundable Fees
The following charges are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law:
- Application fees
- Registration fees
- Administrative processing fees
- Examination fees after scheduling or administration
- Certification issuance fees
- Credential verification fees
- Digital downloads that have been accessed
- Shipping and handling charges
- Third-party service fees
- Payment processing fees where permitted by law
- Fees for completed coaching or consulting sessions
Any exceptions will be communicated in writing.
8. Payment Disputes
If you believe a payment has been processed incorrectly, you should contact REWTTEERS UNIVERSITY promptly before initiating a dispute with your financial institution.
We will investigate reported billing concerns in good faith and, where appropriate, correct verified billing errors.
Providing complete information, including transaction details and proof of payment, will help us resolve your request more efficiently.
9. Chargeback Policy
A chargeback should only be initiated when a legitimate billing issue cannot be resolved directly with REWTTEERS UNIVERSITY.
Initiating a fraudulent or unjustified chargeback after receiving educational services may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account.
- Removal of access to courses and learning materials.
- Withholding of certificates or academic records until the matter is resolved.
- Referral of outstanding balances to a collections process where permitted by law.
- Permanent restriction from future enrollment.
The University reserves the right to provide documentation to payment providers demonstrating that services were delivered or made available.
Nothing in this section limits your legal right to dispute unauthorized or fraudulent transactions.
10. Scholarships and Financial Assistance
Students receiving scholarships, grants, sponsorships, tuition assistance, or other forms of financial aid should be aware that separate conditions may apply.
Examples include:
- Sponsored tuition may be subject to agreements with the sponsoring organization.
- Scholarship funds may not be paid directly to students.
- Withdrawal from a program may affect future scholarship eligibility.
- Refunds involving sponsored tuition may be returned to the funding organization rather than the student, depending on the applicable agreement.
Students should review the terms associated with their financial assistance before accepting an award.
11. Promotional Discounts
REWTTEERS UNIVERSITY may periodically offer promotional pricing, coupons, scholarships, early enrollment discounts, or special offers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Promotional offers cannot be combined unless permitted.
- Discounts have no cash value.
- Refunds for discounted purchases will generally be based on the amount actually paid, not the standard course price.
- Promotional offers may have separate refund conditions disclosed at the time of purchase.
Expired promotional offers cannot be applied retroactively.
12. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Please note:
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
- International transactions may require additional processing time.
- The University is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or card issuers.
If the original payment method is no longer available, the University will work with you to determine an appropriate alternative where legally and operationally feasible.
13. Exceptional Circumstances
REWTTEERS UNIVERSITY recognizes that exceptional situations may arise.
Refund requests based on extraordinary circumstances—such as serious illness, bereavement, natural disasters, military deployment, or other significant events—may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Supporting documentation may be requested where appropriate.
The University reserves the right to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include:
- A full refund.
- A partial refund.
- Course credit.
- Deferred enrollment.
- Transfer to a future intake.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
Where mandatory legal protections provide greater rights than those described in this Policy, those legal rights will prevail.
15. Changes to This Refund Policy
REWTTEERS UNIVERSITY may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in applicable laws, educational practices, payment systems, or business operations.
Any updates will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date. Changes will generally apply to purchases made after the effective date of the revised Policy unless otherwise required by law.
