The Faculty of Executive Innovation, Research & Future Studies is an advanced executive and professional education faculty dedicated to developing innovation leaders, researchers, strategists, futurists, entrepreneurs, executives, policymakers, consultants, technology leaders, knowledge professionals, transformation executives, and organizational decision-makers capable of anticipating change, generating new knowledge, transforming ideas into practical solutions, and preparing organizations for emerging opportunities and challenges.
The Faculty integrates innovation management, strategic foresight, futures studies, research leadership, emerging technologies, scenario planning, knowledge management, research commercialization, design thinking, future business models, innovation strategy, technology foresight, and organizational transformation.
Its central philosophy recognizes that successful organizations cannot depend exclusively on what worked yesterday. Leaders must develop the ability to:

The Department of Strategic Foresight & Future Leadership serves as the Faculty's flagship department for professionals responsible for anticipating change and preparing organizations for alternative futures. Participants develop competencies in foresight, scenario development, horizon scanning, emerging technologies, future business models, research leadership, knowledge management, and long-term strategic thinking. The Department does not seek to teach professionals to "predict" the future with certainty. Rather, it develops their ability to identify signals of change, examine plausible futures, challenge assumptions, assess uncertainty, and make more resilient strategic decisions.

It brings together foresight, innovation, intelligence, research, strategy, adaptability, and transformation to prepare leaders for long-term organizational responsibility. The Department moves beyond asking: “What will the future look like?” toward the more useful executive question: “Given multiple possible futures, what should our organization do today?”
